  • It's Irish fare. It will get you through a famine but its nothing really to write home about. The service was really good and attentive and the vibe was cozy and charming.

  • Pretty solid place for Irish classics. Neat atmosphere too. I had the fish nuggets chips. Very flavorful and good portion size. Would definitely eat here again.

  • Good service and the drinks were good too, but I didn’t think that good food was anything to write home about. I got the garlic, mashed potatoes as a side and I was pleasantly surprised when they offered me gravy. However, gravy made the potatoes kind of bad. It was just off or something.

  • Excellent fish & great steak-cut chips! Superb choice of fairly-priced beers. Friendly service, with outdoor terrace on-street at the front & great patio out back. Recommended!

  • Lots of great food and service in downtown Winston Salem this past weekend. Shauna (very fun and helpful with food choices) at Finnegan's Wake: Dark & Stormy and I had vodka pickle backs, Goat Cheese potato cakes topped with apple butter (fantastic), the “small” Bangers and Mash, Shepherds Pie With a side of Mac n cheese. That Mac looked so good I got some to go for my dinner and it reheated really well!

  • The fried pickles are full pickles, which I found to be pretty unique. The spinach dip was very good as well. I got the Shepards Pie, which was kinda what you expect from a shepherds pie. A good experience overall.

  • We went here for lunch with my mom and kids. She was iffy when I said "let's go to this Irish restaurant!" Because all she could think was haggis. But she realized there were lots of tasty sounding things on the menu. We tried the potato cakes, fried pickles, Irish bangers, wings, and kids burgers. Everyone loved it!
